OUGD401 - Essay Research - America's Economic Way of War

To back up my historical theory I used many historical documents. I took a quote from America's Economic Way of War: War and the US Economy from the Spanish-American War to the Persian Gulf War (New Approaches to Economic and Social History) to back up my argument that both America and the USSR influenced other countries for their own benefit. America went to the length of creating a doctrine to prevent the spread of communism. 

“The Korean War was entered to protect South Korea from North Korean aggression, but that aggression was part of the world wide struggle by the United States to contain communism, an economic system violently opposed to it’s own.” Rockoff, 2012, p. 3

This quote backs up my argument and uses a historical example to prove it. I have used many of these historical sources to provide facts about events and dates that help my argument in my essay.
